Tall Ships Are Returning to Erie!

Tall Ships Erie 2013 will take place Sept. 5th through 9th, 2013, and will conclude the day before the bicentennial of the Battle of Lake Erie. The year 2013 marks the 200th anniversary of the building of Commodore Perry's fleet in Erie, PA and his victory at the Battle of Lake Erie off Put-In-Bay, Ohio on September 10th.

Help us celebrate the return of Tall Ships to Erie for the first time in three years. We are expecting more than 75,000 people to view the Parade of Sail and tour the ships during the four day event. Tall Ships Erie 2013 will feature more ships, more educational opportunities, more entertainment and more fun for the entire family!

The Flagship Niagara League would like to recognize the Perry 200 Commission for their financial support to help us attract some of the world’s best Tall Ships for this once-in-a-lifetime event. Proceeds from the event benefit the Flagship Niagara League, which maintains and operates Pennsylvania’s Flagship, the Brig Niagara.
